C’est Cheese began as a small gourmet cheese shop back in 2003, founded by owner/operators Michael & Kathryn Graham. Over the years C’est Cheese slowly grew its offerings to include charcuterie, wine, catering, monthly cheese classes, gift boxes & eventually lunch. The original 800 square foot space became too small for all that deliciousness and in May of 2014, the C’est Cheese Bakery & Cafe opened in the adjacent spaces.
Essentially, the expanded C’est Cheese is now a food lover’s paradise offering an incredible breakfast & lunch menu 7 days a week with excellent indoor & outdoor seating. From 3pm – 6pm, you can still enjoy one of their signature grilled cheeses or enjoy a glass of wine alongside a cheese & charcuterie board while taking in the beautiful mountains of Santa Barbara. All pastries are baked in house daily and include such treats as the best-selling bacon, cheddar & chive biscuit or Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen-ah-mahn), a heavenly pastry from Brittany that is a must try!
And once you’ve enjoyed the cafe, you can stroll over to the cheese shop to taste some of the 120+ cheeses or 30+ cured meats that are on display. Add in a bottle of local or imported wine and perhaps a box of their house made truffles, and you’ve set yourself up for the perfect picnic or evening on your deck enjoying the wonderful Santa Barbara weather. And don’t forget that C’est Cheese also has a full service catering department that offers everything from gourmet un-wrap and serve cheese platters to delicious sandwich & salad platters. We also service larger events such as open houses, cocktail parties and even wedding rehearsals. So whether you’re just visiting for the weekend or are a local looking for the best foods that Santa Barbara has to offer, C’est Cheese is the place to visit!
