During Santa Barbara International Film Festival (February 4th – 15th), El Encanto is launching a cinematic speaker series, where guests and locals alike can participate in intimate and engaging discussions with interesting thought leaders in the film world. Upcoming featured guests as part of this new cinematic speaker series will include Stephen Cornwell of Ink Factory.

From Page to the Silver Screen, El Encanto’s new speaker series kicks off with Ink Factory Filmmaker Stephen Cornwell (son of acclaimed British spy novelist John Le Carré) who will discuss the art of bringing Le Carré characters to life for film and television such as Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy, The Constant Gardener, A Most Wanted Man, The Night Manager, The Little Drummer Girl and The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. Award-winning journalist and author Andrew Gumbel will be the session’s moderator.
