Celebrate the music of Joni Mitchell with Kimberly Ford and a seven-piece band inspired by Mitchell’s years performing with Tom Scott & the L.A. Express.
Spanning folk, jazz and pop-rock, the performance features favorites including “Help Me,” “Both Sides Now,” “Blue,” “River,” “All I Want,” “Free Man in Paris,” “Carey” and “Woodstock,” alongside a few lesser-known selections from Mitchell’s extensive catalog.
Led by Santa Barbara vocalist Kimberly Ford, the band has been performing Mitchell’s music throughout California and beyond since 2014, including appearances at Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre, Yoshi’s Oakland and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
Rather than a note-for-note tribute, Ford and her band bring their own energy to Mitchell’s music while celebrating the songwriting and musical range that have made her work endure for generations.
