Artists of all levels are invited to paint en plein air in the gardens inspired by the works of Georgia O’Keeffe and Mimi Lauter which are currently on view in the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s galleries. Teaching Artist, Nicola Ghersen will lead an inspiring afternoon of exploring painting techniques to depict close-up views of organic forms using bold brushstrokes and delicate details.  A small printmaking station will be set up for those wish to create a print of their finished pieces.
