Stand Up Paddling (SUP) is the fastest-growing ocean sport! SUP-ing allows guests to experience incredible views of the city, mountains and ocean while enjoying a great total body workout. Our introductory lesson offers a two-hour session of instruction and practice. Most guests are up and paddling within 30 minutes of instruction. Your guide will work with you to improve your technique while you explore the local coastline and learn about Santa Barbara’s rich marine environment and history.
Starting point and time: Local Beach, 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm
Level of difficulty: Easy to Moderate (Guests must be comfortable swimming in the ocean and small waves)
Age minimum: Children must be at least 7 years old. It is very important that all guests be comfortable in the ocean
Includes: SUP equipment, wetsuit as necessary, knowledgeable guide, comprehensive instruction
