The State Street Promenade Market is a weekly outdoor event, staged by the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization in collaboration with the City of Santa Barbara and is held every first Thursday of the month. Local businesses, artists, nonprofit organizations, restaurants and performers take over a different location on State Street each month to create a lively locals’ night for the enjoyment of the community and visitors alike.

This market takes full advantage of the utterly delightful State Street Promenade, which is closed to car traffic. Vendors change every week and include a variety of artisans such as jewelers, glass blowers, imported goods and artisan chocolates.
