The UCSB Library holds a very special tango treasure: Edouard Pecourt Collection.

One of the most complete public tango collections in the world is sitting right here, in Santa Barbara. An archive of the Tango Universe complete with recordings, magazines, music sheet, and more giving us a veritable map of what Tango is all about, and where it fits in World Music of the 20th Century.
