Dues Structure

Your annual membership dues are based on the type of business you operate in Santa Barbara County. Dues for operators of member hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, inns, and other accommodations are calculated on a per-room basis. Dues for other types of qualifying visitor-oriented businesses are assessed at varying rates. For an estimate of what your dues would be as a New Member, find the appropriate category and classification below.


South Coast Lodging – Per Room $6.10
Minimum Rate – $320.00

Restaurants – $320.00

Airline, Van, Shuttle, Train, Bus, Rental Cars, Taxi – $475.00

Activity- Attractions, Tours, Museums, Theatres, Outdoor Recreation
For Profit – $475.00
Non Profit – $320.00
Festivals/Events For Profit – $250.00
Festivals/Events Non-Profit – $175.00

With Tasting Room – $475.00
Tasting Room Only – $320.00

Marketing Affiliates
Tourism Services, Professional Associations,
Visitor & Conference Services, Partners

Professional Services
Speakers, Photographers, Florists, Printers, Caterers, Destination Management Companies, Meeting & Banquet Facilities – $320.00

Dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes, but may be deducted as a necessary business expense. Membership rates are prorated on a monthly basis July 1-June 30.
