Your annual membership dues are based on the type of business you operate in Santa Barbara County. Dues for operators of member hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, inns, and other accommodations are calculated on a per-room basis. Dues for other types of qualifying visitor-oriented businesses are assessed at varying rates. Dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes, but may be deducted as a necessary business expense. Membership rates are prorated on a monthly basis July 1-June 30.
