Sunlit ridgelines, shimmering shorelines, and the ever-changing moods of the California coast come alive in this new exhibition of landscape works by 12 Santa Barbara–area artists. Where Mountains Meet the Sea explores what happens when ocean mist collides with mountain light, creating a colorful, atmospheric journey through the places locals know best. Curator Emily Falke describes the exhibition as “a love letter to the landscapes we live in,” and each canvas reflects that deep sense of place.
Admission is included with general entry to the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. On view through March 29, 2026.
