As one of the country’s longest-running Earth Day celebrations, the festival’s mission is to educate, inspire and take action. Explore two days dedicated to stepping into climate leadership. Join in on conversations with climate leaders, get into the groove with musical performances and art contests, build community and connect with eco-minded exhibitors, and learn how to lean into climate action.

Madonnari, or street painters, transform the Mission plaza using pastels on pavement to create 150 vibrant and colorful, large-scale images. The Santa Barbara I Madonnari Street Painting Festival presents the rare opportunity to view artists of all ages create street paintings ranging from classical to original images.

The 51st Annual Summer Solstice Celebration kicks off the summer season with a vibrant explosion of creative energy, June 20-22 at Alameda Park.  Spectators can expect to see vibrant displays of artwork, costumes, performances and more. Locals and visitors alike can join in on the fun and dress to impress with this year’s theme of Wild World!
