Spend a creative weekend exploring landscapes with Southern California artist Robin Deshayes, known for her expressive, bold impressionistic style inspired by California and the American West. This two-day workshop emphasizes confident brushwork, strong composition, thoughtful color choices, and painting with intention. Students will learn essential landscape concepts, including light, mood, value, and color harmony, while receiving live demonstrations and individualized feedback.
This class is ideal for painters who want to loosen up, paint more boldly, and deepen their connection to the landscape. Prerequisite: completion of a beginner acrylic painting class (or consult before registering). Workshop is limited to 10 students with a minimum of 8 required. Coffee and pastries will be provided each morning.
