For over 60 years, Santa Barbara Botanic Garden has been selecting and introducing exceptional California native cultivars to beautify gardens and landscapes. Whether the product of rigorous breeding efforts or chance discoveries made in the wild or in a garden, these 30+ cultivars are highly desirable for the wealth of forms, colors, and textures they provide. During this two-hour stroll through the botanic garden, hear stories about their origins, view their unique features, and learn how to use them in your own garden.
Although the Garden is dog-friendly, participants are asked to not bring their dog(s) to this class.
