Join birding expert Rebecca Coulter for a guided morning walk through Santa Barbara Botanic Garden in search of the diverse bird species that call the Garden home. Along the way, participants will watch and listen for resident and migratory birds while learning tips for identifying species by sight and sound.
Whether you’re new to birding or an experienced birder, this walk offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the Garden’s varied habitats and discover the rich birdlife of the Santa Barbara region.
About the Instructor:
Rebecca Coulter has been birding in the Santa Barbara region for more than 20 years. She serves as head compiler for Santa Barbara’s annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count and enjoys sharing the area’s rich bird diversity and varied habitats with birders of all experience levels.
Although the Garden is dog-friendly, participants are asked not to bring dogs to this program.
