Build on the fundamentals of acrylic painting during this six-week intermediate course with Art Spot on Wheels. Designed for returning students, the class dives deeper into painting techniques, individual style, composition and creative practice.
Participants will work on a painting of their choice from a reference photo, take part in guided paint-alongs inspired by admired artists, and complete shorter exercises exploring limited color palettes, brushstrokes and technique.
Classes take place Tuesdays from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and are limited to 12 students, with a minimum of six participants required.
Students should bring their regular painting supplies, along with two 8×10 canvas panels for the first class. Professional heavy-body acrylic paints are recommended as an upgrade from student-grade paints.
This course is designed as a follow-up to the 6-Week Beginner Acrylic Painting Class and is available to returning students who have completed a four-, five- or six-week beginner course. Those with comparable acrylic painting experience may contact Art Spot on Wheels to inquire about joining.
