Parents and caregivers are invited to a practical estate planning workshop focused on an important question: If something happened to you, who would care for your children?
Hosted by Austin Nieves, founder of the Santa Barbara Dads Group, the workshop features estate planning attorney Jillian Cardona, founder of Peace of Mind Planning. Cardona will cover how to legally name guardians for children, the differences between wills and trusts, how probate works, and steps families can take to protect their children and their wishes.
Attendees will receive a Parent’s Guide to Estate Planning, guardianship documents and a complimentary Family Strategy Session. Childcare is included, and the workshop is open to the public.
Admission is free with RSVP. Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended.
