
Apples to Zucchini Cooking School is a nonprofit organization based in Santa Barbara, California. The school’s mission is to bring people together around the table by teaching kids, teens, and adults how to prepare delicious, nutritious, and affordable meals using local and seasonal ingredients.
Santa Barbara’s year-round abundance of fresh, organic produce provides the perfect backdrop for learning in the kitchen. At its teaching kitchens in Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, AtoZ Cooking School offers cooking classes for all ages and skill levels—from foundational cooking techniques to specialty cuisine nights and family dinner classes where parents and children cook side by side. In every class, participants cook together and eat together.
AtoZ also hosts week-long summer camps for budding food lovers entering TK through 6th grade. These hands-on camps encourage kids to explore food through cooking, art, gardening, and science.
Visitors coming to Santa Barbara for a special event or family reunion can also book private cooking classes or kids’ birthday parties with AtoZ Cooking School.
