Bossie’s Kitchen

901 North Milpas Street
Santa Barbara, CA

Bossie’s Kitchen is located in the historic Live Oak Dairy building at the corner of Milpas and Canon Perdido just blocks away from the Santa Barbara Bowl, and owned by chef-wife team Lauren Herman and Christina Olufson.

The chef’s menus are focused on seasonal and organic produce locally sourced from the Santa Barbara Farmer’s Market, supporting family-owned farms throughout the county.

A casual neighborhood restaurant, Bossie’s “everyday organic” menu includes rotisserie chicken and grilled salmon, grilled burger with hand-punched french fries, seasonal soup, and baked mac ‘n cheese. Drawing from Christina’s Korean-American heritage, you’ll also find menu items such as their Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and Gochujang Rice Bowls.

Don’t forget about dessert–Check out their pastry counter! All of their cookies, cakes, donuts, breads, and pastries are made from scratch in house with organic unbleached flours, farmer’s market eggs, natural cane sugar, and French-style butter, and seasonal organic fruits.

Their beverages include natural wines from local vintners and craft breweries, locally made kombucha and hard ciders.

Bossie’s is proudly women, LGBTQ+, and AAPI owned, and embraces the diverse cultures that make up our community.
