Ice in Paradise is an ice skating sports and recreational facility in Goleta that offers public ice skating sessions and a variety of ice sports, including figure skating and hockey. With numerous classes and sessions to serve the greater Santa Barbara community, you can level up your ice skating skills with youth hockey, figure skating clubs, freestyle groups, disco-themed college nights and more. Ice in Paradise also coordinates professional lessons and performances throughout the year for locals and visitors alike.
PUBLIC ICE SKATING SCHEDULE
Guests of all ages and experience levels are welcome to enjoy daily public ice skating sessions at Ice in Paradise. Session hours vary by day. View the weekly schedule here.
DINING AT RINKSIDE CAFE
Located inside Ice in Paradise, Rinkside Cafe serves a wide variety of hot and cold drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available), as well as small bites, pizzas, sandwiches and salads. For seating, Rinkside has a cozy indoor dining area that’s ideal for warming up before returning to the ice and an outdoor patio with a fire pit and music. The cafe is open on weekdays from 4 p.m. to midnight and weekends from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Rinkside also offers group rates and private spaces for birthday parties and other family events.
TICKETS AND ADMISSION
Admission to public skate sessions is $15 for the NHL Rink and $10 for the Studio Rink. Skate and walker rentals are $5 per person. Rental skates are available in sizes Youth 8 to Adult Men’s 15. Ice in Paradise does not provide hockey stick or puck rentals.
HOW TO GET TO ICE IN PARADISE
Arriving from the south, take Highway 101 North and exit 108 for Storke Road. Turn left onto Storke Road and drive almost one mile. Coming from the north, follow US-101 South to exit 108 for Storke Road. Turn right at the light. Ice in Paradise will be on your left, down the Santa Felicia driveway. Ice in Paradise offers ample parking on site next to the skating rink at no charge.
ACCESSIBILITY
Ice in Paradise is fully ADA accessible with a designated locker room equipped to meet the needs of patrons with disabilities. Adaptive sports programs, developed in coordination with local nonprofits, are available to serve individuals with disabilities.
