Located near Santa Barbara’s waterfront at the Hotel Californian, Margerum Wine Company offers tastings or wines by the glass in our expansive tasting room or on the heated patio. And at the gateway to the Sta. Rita Hills, our winery is also open for tasting Saturday and Sunday on Industrial Way in Buellton. Winery owner Doug Margerum has been intimately involved in both food and wine for over 30 years in the Santa Barbara region, making him one of the pioneers in the industry. We source fruit from our own Estate Vineyard on Alamo Pintado Road and from top vineyards from the warm, eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley in Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara to the cool vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills at the western end of the Santa Ynez Valley to create small production wines with personality and vineyard character.
