Nomad Tango is a non-profit founded to promote Tango music, dance and social gatherings (milongas) as a way to expand well-being and a sense of belonging. We believe that tango needs to be understood as an art form, and take its place among ballet, modern dance, opera, classical music, jazz and others, and that it contributes to the expression and elevation of the human spirit. 

They are committed to building and promoting the values of community, friendship, art, music and dancing in Santa Barbara. 

Nomad Tango was incorporated in California as a nonprofit organization in 2021 as a Public Charity under Internal Revenue Code section 503(c)(3),
