Certified sustainable winery focused on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines from a single vineyard on the bank of the ancient Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench.
Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when the first grapes were planted on the property. For nearly five decades, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased Riverbench grapes for their own wines.
In 2006, Riverbench began bottling their own estate grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In 2008, sparkling wines were added to their portfolio, allowing for visitors to taste through a full sparkling wine tasting flight.
