Enjoy delectable Thai- and Taiwanese-inspired noodle bowls and dumplings at Empty Bowl Noodle, or try the fresh and inventive Mexican fare from Corazon Cocina. If you’re craving Italian, Chef Dario Furlati serves up fantastic wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta. Beginning in early January 2019, Chefs Justin West and Jason Carter will be dishing out at West Coast Barbeque at Soul Cal Smokehouse. Ready for dessert? Head to Enjoy Cupcakes or Rori’s Artisanal Creamery for a decadent treat. Directions, Parking and Hours
The Santa Barbara Public Market is located in the cultural and performing arts district of downtown Santa Barbara at 38 W. Victoria Street and Chapala, part of the Alma del Pueblo mixed-use development. There is ample underground parking available, along with nearby street parking. The Public Market is open every day: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Note that individual merchant hours may vary.
Public Market Events
The Santa Barbara Public Market is also home to a commercial kitchen, and hosts a variety of special public events throughout the year, including wine, cheese and beer tastings, cooking classes, demonstrations and live music.
