Santa Barbara MTD‘s all-electric Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle is proud to provide a convenient mode of transportation for visitors and residents, facilitating unique and efficient travel between the waterfront and downtown Santa Barbara. The State Street Promenade has become a trendy destination for exploring a wide range of shopping, dining, cultural and entertainment experiences—and a ride on the shuttle is the perfect way to explore this downtown highlight and so much more along the route, like the Santa Barbara Zoo, Santa Barbara Harbor and other iconic locations.

Downtown-Waterfront Shuttle Schedule
The shuttle service will operate every 20 minutes, Friday through Sunday, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. through Sept. 2, with additional service offered on July 4 and Labor Day.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Fares are affordable at just $0.50 for a one-way trip, and $0.25 for seniors (62+) and people with disabilities. Love unlimited rides? Grab the $1 day pass and ride the shuttle all day long. Got an Amtrak ticket? Show it to the driver and enjoy free rides on the Shuttle and any MTD bus service that day. The shuttle is ADA accessible and no reservations are required.
