The evening opens with Mozart’s spirited Sinfonia concertante in E-flat Major, K. 297b, featuring Eugene Izotov on oboe, Richie Hawley on clarinet, Judith LeClair on bassoon, and Nathaniel Silberschlag on horn. The program concludes with Rachmaninoff’s lush and emotionally powerful Symphony No. 2 in E Minor.
