Continue the 17th annual Asian American Film Series with a special screening of FOOD ROOTS, an inspiring documentary by Michele Josue. The film follows Emmy Award-winning Chicago restaurateur Billy Dec as he journeys through his mother’s native Philippines, exploring family recipes, culinary traditions, and long-held family stories while discovering the rich cultural heritage of the country’s 7,641 islands.
Following the screening, guests are invited to stay for a Q&A with director Michele Josue and an outdoor reception.
