Enjoy a community-centered walk at Elings Park as part of a yearlong series of free Native Plant Meetups hosted by Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. Guided by leaders from the Garden and Latino Outdoors, participants will explore the restoration area while learning about the native plants that call Elings Park home.
Bring water, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes for this relaxed outdoor experience. No registration is required; simply meet at the top parking lot on the day of the event.
This free community program is presented in partnership with Boom Boom Bike Room, Elings Park, Latino Outdoors, PALMA Colectiva, Santa Barbara Public Library, and SCAPE. Volunteers are also welcome to support the ongoing restoration project at Elings Park.
