Renowned pianist Jeffrey Kahane, celebrated for his “imagination, devotion, and supreme musicianship” (Los Angeles Times), joins friends and fellow artists for an intimate evening of chamber music spanning Romantic masterworks and contemporary selections.
The program features Joaquín Turina’s vibrant Piano Quartet in A Minor, Op. 67 and Brahms’ richly expressive Piano Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 26, performed alongside acclaimed musicians Margaret Batjer on violin, Yura Lee on viola, and Mosher Guest Artist Zlatomir Fung on cello. The evening also includes select solo works by Samuel Barber, Timo Andres, and Jeffrey Kahane, performed by Kahane at the piano.
