MCASB Presents “DJ Javier: San Milano Drive”

Feb. 20 - April 26, 2026

12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Recurring daily

San Milano Drive marks the debut solo museum exhibition of Santa Barbara–based Filipino-American artist DJ Javier, presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (MCASB). This vibrant, multimedia exhibition celebrates Filipino heritage, local identity, and surf culture through large-scale paintings, murals, sculptures, and interactive installations that invite community engagement and play.

Highlights include San Milano Sari-Sari, a faux-storefront marketplace featuring local artists and exclusive MCASB x DJ Javier merchandise; Nipa Hut, a colorful large-scale sculpture reimagining a communal gathering space; Tricycle, inspired by everyday Filipino transportation; and Videoke Machine, a hybrid art-meets-karaoke installation that will be regularly activated for visitors and special events.

On view through April 26, 2026.
