Lace up your hiking shoes and experience the scenic trails of Elings Park at Summit for Danny, a community hiking event bringing together outdoor adventure, wellness and a great cause. Hikers of all ages and abilities can choose between easy and intermediate routes, whether you’re looking for a leisurely trek with family and friends or want to take on the timed challenge and compete for a top-finisher medal. Dogs are welcome to join the adventure too!
After hitting the trails, stick around for a barbecue lunch, refreshments, live music, an awards ceremony, and community program.
Summit for Danny benefits the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) and individual scholarships for its Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Centers, supporting treatment and services for local youth and families.
Please note: Summit for Danny also includes a separate hike at Orcutt Community Park on October 10th. You are welcome to attend both, complete the series, and receive a medal!
