Get a first look at UCSB’s exceptional student entrepreneurs at the New Venture Fair at Corwin Pavilion on the UCSB campus. The fair features 20 student teams presenting their business ideas in a trade show format, including product demonstrations and poster board presentations. Attendees can explore the booths, learn about each venture, and vote for favorites to advance to the New Venture Competition (NVC) Finals. Finalists will be announced on the UCSB Department of Technology Management website following the event.
Refreshments and appetizers will be served throughout the evening. The New Venture Fair is part of UCSB’s New Venture Program, in which students from all academic disciplines spend several months developing innovative start-up business plans. The fair, along with the NVC Finals on May 21, has become a cornerstone of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem.
