International Tchaikovsky Competition winner and Mosher Guest Artist Zlatomir Fung takes the stage for an eclectic and deeply personal recital celebrating American music, cinematic storytelling, and virtuosic cello repertoire. Joined by pianist Jonathan Feldman, Fung performs a program that blends beloved classics, film score arrangements, and original compositions—including one of his own works.
Highlights include the world premiere of Marshall Estrin’s arrangement of Borodin’s Petite Suite, Fung’s original composition Eulogy, selections from Vertigo and Young Frankenstein, and Samuel Barber’s powerful Sonata for Cello and Piano, Op. 6. Blending technical brilliance with expressive storytelling, this dynamic recital showcases the artistry and imagination of one of today’s most exciting young cellists.
