Experience Swan Lake as never before when internationally acclaimed contemporary circus company Circa brings Duck Pond to The Granada Theatre, presented by UCSB Arts & Lectures.
Created by Yaron Lifschitz and the Circa Ensemble, this playful reimagining transforms the world’s most romantic ballet into a contemporary circus spectacular filled with soaring aerials, jaw-dropping acrobatics and Circa’s signature physicality. Cheeky touches, including a sequined duck army and burlesque black swan, bring humor and unexpected energy to the classic tale.
Touching, funny and visually spectacular, Duck Pond explores identity and the journey toward finding your true self.
