Explore creativity and self-expression during a hands-on mask-making workshop inspired by the beauty and symbolism of nature.
Participants will create and decorate their own unique masks while exploring the history and cultural significance of masks as expressions of identity, spirituality and personal transformation. The experience begins with ceremonial cacao, prepared to encourage reflection, creativity and connection with others.
A variety of art supplies, including paints, feathers and decorative materials, will be provided to help bring each mask to life. Participants will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation to take home.
All materials are provided, but participants are welcome to bring personal ornaments or decorations to incorporate into their masks.
