Data is updated weekly, with the prior week’s performance published by end of day on Fridays. For ease of use, any tab can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking the Visit Santa Barbara logo.
Next 28 Days (YoY): Compares occupancy for the next 28 days to the same period last year, providing a near-term view of expected performance.
Change in Future Annual Occupancy: Tracks how forward-looking occupancy is trending over time by comparing each report date to the same time last year. Displayed across 365 days to indicate whether performance is pacing ahead of or behind last year.
30-Day Average Booking Pace: Highlights how future bookings are building week over week. For example, if a date shows +100 room nights, that means 100 more room nights have been booked compared to the previous week. Displayed across 365 days to show how far in advance bookings are being made.
Days Booked Before Travel: Shows the average booking window — how many days in advance trips are booked. Displayed across 365 days to highlight trends in booking behavior.
Occupancy YoY Change by Booking Type: Shows forward-looking changes in occupancy compared to the previous year, broken out by booking channel.
