A Tribute to Tourism
Visit Santa Barbara invites you to join us for an afternoon of celebration, camaraderie, and community! We look forward to gathering again to honor travel’s abundance of positive impacts—from supporting jobs to generating vital tax revenues that help enhance the quality of life for all Santa Barbara South Coast residents. Let’s celebrate our industry’s resilience, vital community contributions, and all that we have accomplished together.
The program will feature a networking reception followed by a seated multi-course luncheon. We’ll pay tribute to National Travel and Tourism Week and recognize Visit Santa Barbara’s incoming and outgoing Board Directors. Keynote speaker Kevin Brown, best-selling author of Unleashing Your Hero, will inspire us with “The HERO Effect.” And all guests will be entered to win prizes and giveaways—our small way of saying thank you for all that you do!

About Kevin Brown
A branding and culture expert who achieved great success growing billion-dollar businesses, Kevin Brown travels the globe sharing “The HERO Effect,” a simple philosophy that separates world-class organizations and high performers from everybody else. We are thrilled to bring Kevin’s inspirational stories to Santa Barbara’s hospitality industry to help illuminate how you and your employees have the power to positively impact the guests you serve—even more than you may realize. His simple principles help everyday people discover and unleash their own inner hero at work and in life, and he’ll highlight how hospitality is one of the most powerful mediums for such transformative acts. Kevin is passionate about helping people expand their vision, develop their potential, and grow their results. As the father of a child with autism, he knows firsthand how the principles of true success reach far beyond the boardroom.
