
Apples to Zucchini Cooking School offers hands-on cooking classes for all ages and skill levels, featuring seasonal, local ingredients from the Central Coast. Join a public class to learn new techniques and connect with fellow food lovers, or book a private cooking experience for family reunions, bachelorette parties, corporate events, and other special occasions.
As Santa Barbara’s only nonprofit cooking school, Apples to Zucchini aims to bring people together around shared meals. At its teaching kitchens in downtown Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, AtoZ Cooking School offers cooking classes for all ages and skill levels—from foundational cooking techniques to specialty cuisine nights and family dinner classes where parents and children cook side by side. In every class, participants cook together and eat together.
AtoZ also hosts week-long camps over Spring Break and Summer for budding food lovers entering TK through 6th grade. These hands-on camps encourage kids to explore food through cooking, art, gardening, and science.
