Ring in the New Year with the Santa Barbara Symphony! As is tradition, guest pops conductor Bob Bernhardt will conduct the magic of Motown, and the celebratory program is sure to have you dancing in your seat all night! Ultra-talented Broadway stars are set to perform classic arrangements such as Dancing in the Street, Let’s Groove Tonight, and Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours alongside the Santa Barbara Symphony.

Thumpasaurus Live on New Year’s Eve
Hotel Californian will host Thumpasauras, an LA-based quintet, sure to rock the house this New Year’s Eve. All your ‘80s music dreams will come true at Casa Blanca this NYE. A Flock of Cougars, known for their soulful and funky covers of top ‘80s hits, will keep the house grooving all night long. The show itself is free for a limited time, however, go out with a bang and purchase a ticket for the show, dinner, and endless Champagne for just $43. Complete with a balloon drop and midnight toast, Casa Blanca is the place to be for New Year’s celebrations.

Hollywood glitz and glamour epitomize this New Year’s Eve black tie event, held at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton, Bacara Santa Barbara. It’s time to get fancy at the Four Seasons! New Year’s Eve at opal restaurant and bar
Situated in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, opal restaurant & bar is thrilled to offer exquisite four course dinners to patrons celebrating New Year’s Eve. All seatings include dinner, one glass of Michel Olivier Blanc De Blanc Cremant Sparkling, the chance to win during two drawings for opal gift cards, opal restaurant and bar gold leaf champagne glasses filled with chocolates to take home, and a $10 Gift certificate per person to use on your next visit. New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu at Loquita
Close out the year in style while enjoying Chef Peter Lee’s prix fixe tasting menu at Loquita, the center of all the action. Menu items specifically curated for the night’s celebration include beef carpaccio, garnacha braised oxtail, salmon tartare, acorn fed pork, and so much more! The meal also includes a complimentary glass of 2009 Gramona Brut Nature “III Lustros” Gran Reserva Cava, the perfect send off for 2018 and a grand welcome for 2019.

New Year’s Eve Specials at Les Marchands
Chef Weston Richards of Les Marchands Restaurant & Wine Shop combines seasonal craft cocktails, bubbly Champagne, and palatable wines with his signature New Year’s Eve dishes to end 2018 with a bang. Think house-made pappardelle with Venus clams, garlic sausage, broccolini, white wine butter and Dijon, as well as Wagyu steak tartare. Richards’ á la carte menu items will also be available to supplement your dining experience, and the wine bar will finish dinner service at 9:45 p.m. so guests have time to attend midnight celebrations.

A Proper New Year’s Eve at Finch & Fork: Two Ways to NYE
Welcome the New Year at Finch & Fork, who is giving diners two ways to celebrate. First, head in for a glitzy dinner where Executive Chef Peter Cham has a tasteful à la carte menu full of classic dishes and holiday specials. For a late-night celebration, join Finch & Fork for an after-party with Party Proper, and dance the night away with a lively DJ, complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Peter Cham and of course, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. After-party starts at 10:30 p.m., and requires no tickets – making Finch & Fork the place to be on NYE.

New Year’s Eve at The Lark
Should you prefer a candlelit, intimate dinner over a crowded club, The Lark’s Executive Chef Jason Paluska has curated the perfect New Year’s Eve menu to whet your appetite while wrapping up the last night of 2018. Feast on California lamb shank and cast iron-roasted Parisienne gnocchi among other tantalizing dishes, and finish off the meal with warm chocolate chip beignets and, of course, a complimentary Champagne toast.

New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Bear and Star
Chef John Cox of Los Olivos’ The Bear and Star has curated a stunning five-course meal to help close out 2018 and welcome in 2019. Delectable courses include the likes of Pan Roasted Sea Scallops, Spicy Wild Greens, and Fess Parker Ranch Wagyu Beef as well as pairings with Fess Parker wines, Spanish Sherry and Portuguese Port. The Hilton Garden Inn will transform into the illicit world of the Roaring ‘20s this New Year’s Eve, so leave your inhibitions at the door and relish in the excitement for 2019! Indochine is hosting the soirée of the season this New Year’s Eve. Noon Year’s Eve at MOXI
Bring the whole family to MOXI for New Year’s Eve festivities and let the fun commence during the celebratory countdown and balloon drop at noon! New Year’s Eve Sunset Sail
Toast the New Year aboard the Double Dolphin! Watch as the sun sets on the end of 2018 with light appetizers and bottomless champagne. Relax as you are whisked away to the heart of Santa Ynez Valley in an air-conditioned luxury van. Post-countdown festivities, indulge in brunch fit for a king to celebrate the start of 2019! Available 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on New Year’s Day, bring the whole family to Les Marchands Restaurant & Wine Shop and savor Chef Weston Richards’ house-made ricotta with seasonal jam & Brioche Toast, ham and cheddar frittata with chives and arugula, or the iconic fried chicken sourdough waffle with house-made butter, hot sauce & rosemary honey. Specialty cocktails are available should “Hair of the Dog” be in order!

New Year’s Day Silent Disco Beach Yoga & Dance Celebration
Start 2019 off with a restored mindset after freeing your soul with energy-inducing dance music. From 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., enjoy silent disco yoga at East Beach, as you stretch your way through a level 1 Vinyasa yoga class and revitalize your body to fun beats. A live DJ will start the party at 4:00 p.m., where attendees can wiggle and shake their worries away. At 4:30 p.m. set your intentions as the sun dips below the ocean horizon, preparing for the year to come. All levels are welcome and tickets are sure sell out quickly.
